Gas detection and review of category 3 PPE

Many work environments use numerous gases in their manufacturing processes. The accumulation of harmful gases is also another problem in confined spaces.
Detección de gases

The gas detector measures in real time the concentration of gases around a worker.
In addition, it can warn users about the possible danger of death.

The detector must be regularly calibrated on a test bench to verify that the cells trigger the alert quickly enough when gas concentrations are above or below the set limits.

Category III PPE

Category III Personal Protective Equipment is Personal Protective Equipment that protects the user from the risk of death, or ones that could seriously and irreversibly damage his or her health.

PPE are differentiated by category to know which ones protect to a greater or lesser extent, i.e. from milder accidents to more serious ones.

Here at Dexis, we provide technical advice to our customers and keep them informed of the latest regulatory changes and solutions available on the market.

All protective equipment wears out over time, which may affect its performance. For this reason, it must undergo regular maintenance and inspections.
